Home energy and water use advice

Could you be paying less for your heating, electric and water bills?

If you have a low income and struggle to pay your bills, speak to our home energy advice service.

We have helped residents save an average of £200 a year off their bills, and might be able to help you.

We can look at your heating, hot water and insulation, and recommend improvements. Some improvements will cost nothing and can be installed quickly and for free.

If you need large improvements, we can tell you whether any grants are available to you and help you apply for them.

We can also check whether you’re on good energy and water tariffs, and are getting all the payments and discounts you're eligible for.
