We work with children and young people and their families across Cambridge, organising activities in local neighbourhoods in response to need.
Our Children and Young People’s Participation Service, known as ChYpPS, delivers our PlayDaze summer-holiday programme as well as free term-time and holiday activities.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic we have moved some of our work online. Further information can be found on our activities page:
We provide fun activities with a focus on play and creativity. We encourage social, emotional and physical well-being through encouraging children to build relationships and offering new experiences. We believe this helps children and young people to develop self-esteem and life skills.
ChYpPS also runs Cambridge Community Scrapstore which provides a range of recycled materials as low-cost creative resources for use in arts, crafts and play projects
ChYpPS manage and are based at Brown’s Field Youth and Community Centre in north Cambridge.
