We encourage you to reserve a court before you arrive, to ensure that you can play when you want to. See below for how to do this. Courts are available to book in 45-minute blocks.
Court etiquette
Please vacate the court after your allotted time if other people are waiting to play, or offer to play doubles.
Please remember to:
- limit noise on the court, especially early in the morning or late at night
- take all your litter with you when you leave the court and find an appropriate bin
- give priority to people who have reserved a court, if you have not done so
- tell us if the courts or nets are damaged in any way
Reserve a court
The courts at Christ’s Pieces and Jesus Green are not free to use – you must reserve and pay for them. The costs for each 45-minute session are:

- 2.30 to 6.15pm: £2

All our other courts are free to use. They are available to reserve, and priority should be given to people who have done so.
The courts at Nightingale recreation ground are only available to people who reserve.
You can reserve a court, and pay for it if necessary, on the ClubSpark website. You can also scan the QR code next to the gate at each court to reserve one.
You can cancel a reservation in the ‘my bookings’ area of your Clubspark account. For paid courts, we will only refund your payment if you cancel at least three hours before your booking time.
