Trumpington recreation ground, known locally as the King George V playing field, is a large open space in south Cambridge.

It’s home to the Trumpington Pavilion community centre and to Trumpington Bowls Club.

It has a playground, tennis court and a table tennis table. A football pitch is open between September and May.

The recreation ground is one of 471 public open spaces in Great Britain that are registered by the National Playing Fields Association as a dedication to King George V.
