Community and voluntary organisations in Cambridge can now apply for grants of £5,000 and under through Cambridge City Council’s Community Grants Scheme.

Applications for round 2 of the scheme are now open until midday 22 June 2026.

The funding is available to support activities that reduce inequality for Cambridge residents, with projects taking place between 1 April 2026 and 31 March 2027.

Organisations can apply for up to £5,000 to fund a single activity or multiple activities. Projects must support at least one of the following:

• Bringing communities together
• Reducing poverty
• Improving access to arts and culture
• Supporting physical activity
• Tackling loneliness and social isolation.
