We are a major investor in the arts and cultural life of the city; the investment we've made focuses on achieving our strategic vision through arts and culture.
Grants
Arts and culture is one of the priorities in our community grants scheme. Go to our community grants for arts and culture page for examples of activities we have supported.
Commissions
We also commission specific activities in relation to agreed plans, in particular linked to our work through partnerships.
Contracts
We have a long term contract in place with Cambridge Live to deliver key elements of the arts and cultural programme in Cambridge, including the Cambridge Corn Exchange and Cambridge Folk Festival.
External investment
We work with Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery Fund and other funders to maximize the benefit of external funding within the city, both in relation to jointly funded organisations, and more broadly.
