82 Akeman Street community rooms provides a local meeting space with four meeting rooms. One is large enough for up to 20 people, and the smaller rooms can accommodate up to eight people.
As well as two ground-floor meeting rooms and two upstairs meeting room, there is a small garden that can be used.

The Community Worker for the North Cambridge Community Partnership (NCCP) (formerly Arbury NCP) is based at the centre.

The larger meeting room (for up to 20 people) has kitchen facilities including a cooker, microwave and fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities.
The smaller meeting rooms accommodate up to eight people and can be hired separately or in conjunction with the larger meeting room, subject to availability.
Internet access is available on Tuesday afternoons. This is free but needs to be booked in advance.
Limited parking is available outside on the forecourt. There are no facilities for hosting parties at the centre.
There is ramped access to the main entrance and garden area and the ground floor is accessible for wheelchair users.
A hearing-loop system is installed in the downstairs meeting room.
The downstairs toilet facilities have been adapted for disabled people and all signage is duplicated in braille.
