The following applications were considered at the meeting of Cambridge City Council’s Planning Committee, held on Wednesday 29 October 2025 at the Guildhall, Cambridge.  

Major Planning Applications

  • To knock down the existing buildings and structures at The Paddocks, 347 Cherry Hinton Road, Coleridge, and build a new building with car and cycle parking and changes to the existing access road off Cherry Hinton Road.

    Decision: Approved 
  • To knock down Christ’s College Library, St Andrews Street, Market, and replace with a contemporary library including social and study space. Further internal and external alterations are proposed including a replacement bridge between the Bodley Library and a temporary kitchen dining facility during the duration of the works.

    Decision: Deferred
