The following applications were considered at the meeting of Cambridge City Council’s Planning Committee, held on Wednesday 23 July 2025 at the Guildhall, Cambridge.  

Major planning applications

  • Hybrid planning application for the Paddocks, Cherry Hinton Road, including demolition of existing buildings and construction of new buildings

Minor / other planning applications

  • Submission of a Traffic Management Plan so demolition and building work can proceed on Owlstone Croft, Owlstone Road, Newnham (22/02066/FUL)

  • Temporary use of an approved house at 12-34 Fanshawe Road, Coleridge, as a sales office for up to 3 years. After that, it will be turned back into a home. Installation of five temporary parking spaces, including one disabled parking space, EV chargers and cycle parking

  • Temporary use of an approved house on land at Newbury Farm, Queen Ediths, as a sales suite for up to 3 years, including temporary outside and inside changes to support this.
