Statement on Carlton Way murder investigation

Following the news over the weekend about the murder of a man in Cambridge, Cllr Alice Gilderdale, Executive Councillor for Community Safety, said: "This is incredibly sad news and my thoughts are with the victim's loved ones at this time. We are in close contact with the police and are encouraging anyone who was in the Carlton Way area in the early hours of Sunday morning, or who has information that could support the investigation, to contact the police as soon as possible. Anyone with information should report online or via the webchat service and quote Operation Olwen. Those without internet access should call 101.

"Those living in and around Carlton Way who may be deeply shocked by what has happened are also in our thoughts. Anyone who has been impacted by the incident and would like support can contact the Victim and Witness Hub on 0800 781 6818 or online.
