Hydration spaces

We open three of our community centres as ‘hydration spaces’ during red weather warnings.

The spaces are intended as refuges for people who are caught outside in the heat.

We provide water and shade, but the buildings are often only relatively cool compared to the outside temperature.

If possible, you should follow the government’s guidance and stay inside at home or work at these times.

But if you need to come in, you are welcome to stay at the following centres until they close.
