Our Corporate Strategy team provides a range of services to help ensure the council achieves its objectives. It works closely with colleagues across all departments, as well as elected members and partner organisations.
The team supports our ambitions to become more efficient and effective, for both our staff and the communities we serve.
Head of Corporate Strategy: Andrew Limb
Our Corporate Marketing team produces Cambridge Matters, the council's magazine for residents, and Insight, the staff newsletter. The team manages the council's website and intranet homepage, and gives support and advice on communications matters including media relations.
Our Democratic Services team keeps our decision-making functions running smoothly, from full Council meetings to scrutiny and area committees. The team supports the mayor and the leader of the council, and runs the electoral services.
Strategy and Partnerships
Our Strategy and Partnerships team advises colleagues and councillors on issues such as sustainability, climate change, partnerships, performance, and equalities.
Urban Growth project management
Our Urban Growth officers help colleagues respond to changing demands for improved facilities arising from the city's urban growth. They coordinate the use of S106 developer contributions and work with councillors and committees on S106 priority setting.
