Abbey People organises a range of events, projects and activities, including community meetings, events and outings, and produces a newsletter. Abbey People is run by a group of trustees.

Networking lunches are informal gatherings. They are attended by a variety of community and outreach workers and representatives from agencies working in the area, together with local residents and members of local groups. Networking lunches give people an opportunity to exchange ideas, news and work together for the benefit of the local people. Anyone who has an interest in Abbey is welcome to attend.
We are always looking for guest speakers or presentations. Organisations often come to promote services or projects to local people and to pass on information. If you'd like to know more, please do get in contact.
