Report an abandoned shopping trolley

Use the Trolleywise app on your phone to upload a photo of an abandoned shopping trolley. The nearest member of the Trolleywise team will pick it up and return it to the correct shop.

Trolleywise will only collect trolleys from Aldi, Asda, B&Q, Iceland, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, or Tesco. If the trolley is not from one of these stores, or if you prefer to report the abandoned trolley to us, we need to know:

  • where it is
  • when you saw it
  • which store it’s from
  • how many there are

We impound any trolleys that are left in the road, on play areas or areas with high footfall, or with fly-tipped rubbish.

For trolleys left elsewhere, we ask the store that owns the trolley to remove the trolley by 5pm the next day. If they do not do so, we impound the trolley and give the store six weeks to claim it. After that, we recycle the trolley and charge the store for any costs incurred.
