Most common insects don’t have public health significance and can be safely left alone.
We can identify those few pests of public health significance that can affect residents – such as cockroaches, bed bugs and pharaoh ants.
We may be able to make arrangements for one of our Pest Control Officers to identify other common insects. Please use the contact details provided in relation to requests for this.
If you require a more detailed identification, this service can be provided locally by Insect Research and Development Ltd who can be reached on 01223 813696 or at firstname.lastname@example.org – a charge will apply.
