Collect a caddy for your food waste

We provide free kitchen caddies for collecting food waste to put in your green bin or on your compost heap.

If you live in Cambridge, you can collect a caddy from our offices. We also sell packs of liner bags.

We can’t provide caddies and paper liners while our offices are closed during the coronavirus pandemic. Paper liners are available in most supermarkets or online, and a sealed container such as an ice-cream container will substitute for a caddy.

The liner bags cost £3 for a pack of 50 – you can only buy one pack at a time. We only sell them to Cambridge residents, so might ask you to show proof of your address.

If you buy liner bags elsewhere, you should only use 100% paper bags – it’s also fine to use newspaper. Do not use plastic or cornstarch liner bags – they break down too slowly for our composting process.
