Local elections on 2 May - where to find polling stations

ON THURSDAY 2 May, elections take place across the city for 16 of the 42 seats on Cambridge City Council and for one seat in the Trumpington division of Cambridgeshire County Council.

There are 51 polling stations across the city, which will be open from 7am-10pm on Thursday. Residents’ poll cards indicate which polling station in their ward they should use. People can also use the polling station finder on the council’s website at www.cambridge.gov.uk/find-your-polling-station

The polling stations for this year’s elections are as follows:

All polling stations are accessible to people with a mobility or visual disability. Any residents with queries about their polling station can contact the council’s Electoral Services team on 01223 457048.

Antoinette Jackson, Chief Executive of Cambridge City Council and Returning Officer for the elections, said: “It’s very straightforward to vote, and I would urge everyone eligible to vote to take part in this year’s local elections for Cambridge City Council and the Trumpington division of the county council.

“I would like to remind residents that if they need any advice or assistance when they get to the polling station on 2 May, there will be members of staff on hand throughout the day to provide help.”

Some of the polling stations listed above may change for the European elections on 23 May. Residents should look out for their poll card for the European elections being delivered soon.
