New community engagement team

The team will be running a number of our services that maintain our streets and open spaces

Environmental reports

Environmental reports provide an overview of our Refuse and Environment and Streets and Open Spaces services' activity.

We provide open data on what we do, so you can help decide the key priorities for your area. Our reports are designed to help protect and enhance Cambridge's environment through devolving power to you and ward councillors.

You can attend your local area committee meetings, where we'll provide an overview of how we are tackling current priorities. Everyone has the chance to ask questions, help set priorities and suggest new issues that need tackling. Priorities for the teams to tackle in the upcoming quarter will then be agreed.

There are four environmental report areas, each covering specific city wards:

Previous environmental reports

East area reports

North area reports

South area reports

West/Central area reports

Resources

Area committees, residents and businesses are provided with resources that can be allocated for upcoming periods, as follows:

  • Locations of where pocket ashtrays should be distributed from are welcomed by our Enforcement team. Email requests or suggestions to envirocrime@cambridge.gov.uk
