To qualify for the grant you must be either receive Small Business Rate Relief or your business activity must fall into the expanded retail, hospitality or leisure sectors. Small Business Rate relief will be shown on your bill if you receive it, and the government has published guidance on qualifying businesses [PDF].
If the rateable value of your business property is £51,000 or more you will not qualify for the grant, so please do not submit the form.
To ensure you do not need to apply for the grants if you are eligible, we have already identified qualifying ratepayers. We need some further information from you before we can pay the grant – please complete our short validation form.
We are contacting businesses about this by email, text and telephone. If you receive a message from us and have already submitted a form, you do not need to do so again.
We will process the grants as quickly as possible and make payments directly to your bank account.
We are exceptionally busy at this time, so please continue to refer to these web pages for updates, and only contact us if really urgent.
