We operate an appointment-only service in the afternoons for customers with council tax or housing benefit queries.
Appointments start at 1pm and can be booked in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on the numbers shown above.
From Monday 17 February we will be using a temporary reception at the Guildhall while we re-model the reception and office space behind.
When completed, the new area – planned to open in June – will provide office accommodation, as well as an updated reception, helping us achieve our objective to reduce costs by releasing rented office accommodation at Lion House while providing access to extra council services at the Guildhall.
If you visit the Guildhall after 17 February, as you enter through the main doors, reception services will be located immediately on your left, adjacent to the stairs.
