The Cambridge Community Collection - apple tree planting consultation

Consultation runs from 17 October 2017, 1:38pm to 7 November 2017, 11:59pm

Introduction and background

Apple trees of every variety from within the United Kingdom, approximately 1,200, will be planted in a range of locations south of Cambridge city centre over the next few years.

The vision is to plant as many varieties as possible, as part of a uniquely designed linear orchard marking routes between the new developments south of the city and the city centre. The result will be a collection of trees to be nurtured, maintained and enjoyed by the community.

Consultation information

We are proposing to plant a number of these trees within existing green spaces and would like to gauge your support.
