Cambridge City Council

Public art commissioning consultation

Surveys open from 25 October to 11.59pm on 4 December 2021.

We believe we have a well-regarded approach to commissioning public art, which has demonstrated benefits for the city and the people who live and work here or visit.

We are constantly looking for ways to build on this reputation, and so are reviewing what works well and how we could improve. The review will help us develop a Public Art Strategy to define how we will support and commission public art in the future.

Have your say

This consultation involves two surveys. One contains general questions about public art, and the other asks more specific questions about our draft manifesto for public art. You can complete either or both surveys.

If you respond to either survey you can choose to be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 voucher as a thank you for your time.

The surveys close at 11.59pm on 4 December 2021. If you have any questions about the surveys or the draft strategy, contact us at publicart@cambridge.gov.uk.

We will be running a workshop discussion as part of the consultation process. If you are interested in participating, leave your contact details in the question response box on the survey or contact info@futurebrightsolutions.co.uk.

Next steps

When the consultation is complete, we will use your responses to help shape the new strategy. We will ask for approval at the Environment and Community Services Scrutiny Committee on 27 January 2022.

We will publish the final information on the public art pages of this website.
