Mill Road cumulative impact area consultation
Consultation runs from
13 November 2017, 12:00am to 4 February 2018, 11:59pm
Introduction and background
Under our statement of licensing policy, we adopted a special policy relating to cumulative impact in relation to certain areas of Cambridge. One of the areas currently specified in the special policy is Mill Road, excluding Brookfields.
We are required to review the special policy regularly to assess whether it is still needed. As part of the review, statistics were provided breaking down the total number of alcohol-related crimes and incidents by ward.
These figures have brought into question whether there is sufficient evidence for the Romsey area of Mill Road – from the railway bridge to Brookfields – to remain part of the special policy on cumulative impact.
We want to know whether you think the Romsey area of Mill Road should remain a part of the cumulative impact area or be removed from it.
