Jesus Green Lido is a 100-yard-long unheated outdoor swimming pool with basic changing and showering facilities. It currently opens on a seasonal basis and supports outdoor swimming in a safe and controlled environment.
Outdoor swimming has a recognised beneficial impact on wellbeing and mental health, and participation has increased in recent years and accelerated during the coronavirus pandemic.
The pool is due to close for the winter on Sunday 12 September. We and our contractor GLL are considering extending operation of the lido over the winter period.
We want to ask for your input on a range of issues to help us assess support and views on how it might best work.

We will consider all responses before outlining final arrangements for winter operation.
