Improvements to Arbury Court Local Centre - Have your say
Consultation runs from
8 May 2017, 12:00pm to 16 June 2017, 11:59am
Introduction and background
The Arbury Court Local Centre Improvement project is part of a Cambridge City Council programme to improve the quality of the public realm at selected local centres. The aim is to enhance social inclusion, economic prosperity and equality, and raise pride in the area for residents, traders and visitors.
This project will focus on improvements to the public space around the shops and other buildings, including better seating, cycle stands and bins alongside better signage, surface paving, new planting and improvements to the road crossing point on Arbury Road.
This consultation gives local residents and stakeholders an opportunity to comment on issues relating to this proposed project.
This wider public consultation is to ensure the project has a majority of public support and gives the wider community influence on the design. If design is supported we will be able to commission detailed design and implement in the first half of 2018.
