Cambridge City Council

Consultation for Glisson Road street tree proposals

Consultation open from 24 October to midday, 13 December.

Introduction and background

To improve the streetscape, we have identified a number of potential locations to bring forward street trees, however we only have funding available in this first phase for a smaller number of trees than the locations we have identified.

The funding has been made available through our environmental improvement programme. We hope that further funding will be made available later, to allow us to plant more trees.

We’d like you to help us choose which locations to plant trees at in this first phase of works. If you live or work near Glisson Road please tell us what you think about the potential planting locations.

Consultation information

Your responses will inform the locations of the trees, both in this first phase and if funding is made available for further planting. They will also indicate whether this planting initiative is supported by the general public.

All the potential locations will need to take into account highway infrastructure and underground utilities services, which could affect the suitability of each of them.

This consultation will end at midday on Friday, 13 December 2019.
