Community Centres Strategy consultation

Consultation runs from 15 February 2017, 8:00am to 5 May 2017, 12:00pm

Introduction and background

In October 2015, the Council agreed to undertake a strategic review of community provision. We have now completed a draft Community Centres Strategy, which proposes a positive and ambitious vision for improved Council-owned community centres, based on evidence of need, across the city.

This consultation gives local residents and stakeholders an opportunity to comment on draft proposals for the 8 community centres owned or managed by the City Council, and where gaps in provision have been identified.

Consultation information

The Council would like to consult widely on the draft community centre strategy and proposals.
