Brothers Place open space improvement consultation

Consultation runs from

22 January 2018, 8:00am to 28 February 2018, 11:59pm

Introduction and background

We are proposing to re-landscape the open space at Brothers Place, off Derwent Close near Cherry Hinton Road in Coleridge.

Proposed improvements include low-level balance beams aimed at 2- to 8-year-olds, and natural grass play mounds. A number of trees will be planted to provide shade, and a picnic table and bench will be installed. Sufficient room will remain for recreational activities.

The improvements would be funded by Section 106 developer contributions.

Consultation information

We would like to use this consultation to present an initial design to residents in order to gauge support.

We also seek further comments should residents wish to see other changes to the space as part of the re-landscaping of Brothers Place Open Space.
