Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority is made up of representatives from seven local councils, including Cambridge City Council, and the Greater Cambridge and Greater Peterborough Local Enterprise Partnership (GCGP LEP)

The authority will be led by a Mayor for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough – the first mayor will be elected in May 2017. Each partner is represented by the leader of their organisation.

Find out more about what the combined authority does on the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority website.

The authority was officially formed in March 2017 by Communities Secretary Sajid Javid.
