This varied and rewarding role will see you leading and supporting community involvement within the public realm.
As an area ranger you’ll deliver a programme of community behaviour change campaigns, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
You’ll need to be positive and proactive, and be comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently. You’ll need to have experience of working outdoors and environmental education, and good knowledge of Cambridge city.
We’ll look to you to organise and attend community events and activities. Supporting the marketing of volunteer opportunities will allow you to demonstrate your ability to inspire trust and confidence from a range of people as well as partnership working.
- You will have proven experience of MS Office software as well as staff supervisory and management skills.
- Working hours are either 8am to 3.30pm on Fridays, or between 10am to 2pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
- An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
