Area Committee funding

Groups of local residents or voluntary groups can apply to one of the council's four area committees – North, East, South, or West/ Central – for funding for projects, activities or services which will take place between 1 April 2018 and 31 March 2019 - see below.

The priorities for Area Committee Grants specifically focus on reducing social and economic inequality for disadvantaged residents.

The activities funded should be for the benefit of people living in one particular area. The Cambridge city map [JPG, 49kB] can help you work out which area committee your group should apply to.

Councillors decide on grant applications at one area committee meeting a year, which take place in the Spring (March/ April 2018).
