If you are a public-sector worker you can apply for a permit that will let you park in our car parks for free while you are working in the city.
To be eligible, you must be either:
- employed by the public or third sector, or by a voluntary or community organisation, or
- the representative of a public-sector, third-sector, voluntary or community organisation
To apply, complete and return an application form.
If you or your organisation are eligible, we’ll send you your permit by email.
We expect this temporary parking scheme to remain in operation until March 2021. We’ll review it regularly throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Permit holders can park in any of these car parks for free while they are at work:
- Adam and Eve Street car park
- Castle Hill car park
- Grafton East car park
- Grafton West car park
- Gwydir Street car park
- Park Street car park
- Queen Anne Terrace car park
