If you feel that you need or want to lose weight, there is help and support available to you in Cambridge to help you reach your goals.
Everyone Health provide weight management support services across the county. These services include 1:1 and group based sessions, all at no charge. You can be referred by your health professional or you can self-refer. Go to the Everyone Health website for more information.

Physical activity services
The Active Lifestyles Team provides a number of opportunities to support you with your weight loss journey.
Exercise Referral
If you would like support to become more active and a physical activity plan that is tailored to you and your goals, the city’s exercise referral team are here to help you!
Available at 5 different sites across the city, this service requires a referral from your GP or health professional. To be eligible for the exercise referral service, you must have a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI of 25 or above with an additional long-term condition. Let’s Get Moving
This is a new county-wide initiative providing lots of physical activity opportunities for families, adults and children to become more active.
Activities in Cambridge include women and girls specific sessions, informal activities such as tennis on the City’s green and open spaces and older adult specific sessions. For more information, go to the Let's Get Moving Cambridgeshire website.
