Queen Anne Terrace car park is about a 15-minute walk from the city centre. It’s ideal for Parkside swimming pool and events on Parker’s Piece. It’s a short walk to the Grafton shopping centre, Anglia Ruskin University, and the county court.

Charges

An ‘off-peak’ tariff applies through the day unless you arrive during the ‘peak-time’ tariff hours. It’s free to park here in the evening and overnight.

If your stay extends across more than one tariff’s hours​, the applicable tariffs for your stay will be added together. The cost of your ticket will reflect the days, time and number of hours you park for. The payment machine will calculate the price when you leave.

If you lose your ticket, we will charge you from 8am on the day you entered the car park.

Off-peak tariff

The off-peak tariff applies between 8am and 6pm, unless you arrive between 8 and 10am.

Peak-time tariff

The peak-time tariff applies for the duration of your stay until 6pm if you arrive between:

  • 8 and 10am on weekdays
  • 11am and 1pm on weekends

The peak-time tariff is designed to encourage you to use alternative methods of transport to travel into Cambridge. It also aims to encourage visiting at less busy periods of the day.

Evening and overnight parking

It’s free to park here in the evenings and overnight, if you arrive between 6pm and 8am.

Bank holidays

Normal daily rates apply on bank holidays. 

Payment options

  • The payment machines accept cash, cards, Android Pay and Apple Pay
  • You can pay by card, Android Pay or Apple Pay at the exit
  • The first three hours are free for Blue Badge holders. Upon presenting a valid Blue badge a standard tariff applies for the duration of the stay exceeding 3 hours 
  • Season tickets are available for businesses
  • Event organisers can pay in advance for group parking
