A favourite summer tradition for the kids, giving them a wonderful and creative introduction to the world of theatre with entertaining and fun shows for ages 3 - 12.

Thursday 4 August
Multi-Story Theatre Company presents:
Storyteller and Singer - 10.30am
Kids will love Bernard Tagliavini's entertaining and colourful stories, poems and songs, performed alongside old and news tales from around the world. (Ages 4+)

Vision Mechanics presents:
Frog Princess - 2.00pm
The Frog Princess combines storytelling and puppetry in a show full of warmth and humour. The Russian tale tells of three brothers who are ordered by their father to find a bride. Each prince must shoot an arrow into the air, and marry whoever finds it. Perfect princesses return the arrows to the eldest two brothers. Unfortunately a frog finds the third brother's arrow. (Ages 3+)

Clydebuiltpuppets Theatre Company presents:

The Call Of The Loon Bird - 10.30am

A truly magical story of wisdom over intolerance, combining storytelling drama, puppetry and live music. It tells the tale of the life of one man and in his youth he rescues a ‘Loon’, a bird of great wisdom, who later helps him on his own journey through life. Through early adversity, illness and later success as a shaman (storyteller and wiseman), he comes to realise and rely on the ‘Call of the Loon’ to help him and his people. (Ages 5-12)

Red Riding Hood's Magic Purse- 2.00pm
A classic story told with a difference brought to life with music and puppetry. Favourite characters abound, an adventurous Red Riding Hood, an independent Granny (home at last from her trip round the world), and of course the wonderful, Wicked Wolf who plans to eat “Grannie for lunch and Little Rosie for afternoon tea.” (Ages 3-8)

Booster Cushion Theatre Company presents:

Old MacDonald And The 3 Pigs Plus - 10.30am
Our farmer tells a comical version of the 3 pigs tale using a farm scene showing animals and vegetables with the use of mime, audience participation with song and story. (Ages 4+)
