HEART OF THE WORLD:
A celebration and exploration of music and culture from
around the world
The annual Heart Of The World Festival returns to Cambridge for
a fourth year this May with a month of fantastic events reaching
across the city and the region ranging from international performances
to community events at venues in and around the city.
The events take place in venues such as The Corn Exchange, The
Junction, The Cricketers, Arbury Community Centre, The Maltings
in Ely, Portland Arms, The Shop in Jesus Lane, Michaelhouse, The
Fountain, Café Brazil, Fitzwilliam Museum, The Punter,
The Arts Picturehouse, Harambee Centre, Christ’s Pieces,
St Paul’s Centre, Alex Wood Hall, Wicken Village Hall, Abbey
College in Ramsey and The Zebra.
These venues will be hosting a month of festivities and participatory
events that includes live music performances
featuring both local and international artists and boasting UK
and world premiere events, club nights, a specially
created programme of film screenings, music
and dance classes, exhibitions
and outdoor celebrations!
Cambridge looks forward to welcoming people for a month of fun
and celebrations in the city and beyond.
