HEART OF THE WORLD:

A celebration and exploration of music and culture from around the world

The annual Heart Of The World Festival returns to Cambridge for a fourth year this May with a month of fantastic events reaching across the city and the region ranging from international performances to community events at venues in and around the city.

The events take place in venues such as The Corn Exchange, The Junction, The Cricketers, Arbury Community Centre, The Maltings in Ely, Portland Arms, The Shop in Jesus Lane, Michaelhouse, The Fountain, Café Brazil, Fitzwilliam Museum, The Punter, The Arts Picturehouse, Harambee Centre, Christ’s Pieces, St Paul’s Centre, Alex Wood Hall, Wicken Village Hall, Abbey College in Ramsey and The Zebra.

These venues will be hosting a month of festivities and participatory events that includes live music performances featuring both local and international artists and boasting UK and world premiere events, club nights, a specially created programme of film screenings, music and dance classes, exhibitions and outdoor celebrations!

Cambridge looks forward to welcoming people for a month of fun and celebrations in the city and beyond.
