7 PROCEDURE FOR HEARING PUBLIC
ENTERTAINMENT LICENCES
AT LICENSING COMMITTEE
The Committee
agreed that the attached procedure adopted in January 2003 was to be reviewed
in January 2005. Having reviewed its
operation, it is recommended no changes are proposed. Other procedures for street trading licensing and taxi licensing
also remain unchanged.
It should be
noted that the procedures for public entertainment licensing will only be in
place up to the ‘second appointed day’ under the Licensing Act 2003, after
which time this Committee will not consider public entertainment licensing.
For decision
The date of the
next two meetings of the Licensing Committee are Thursday 3 March 2005 and
Thursday 14 April 2005, both at 2.00 pm.
