Members of the public are invited to ask any question, or make a statement on any matter related to their local area covered by the City Council Wards listed above.

 

The Forum will last up to 30 minutes, but may be extended at the Chair’s discretion. The Chair may also time limit public speakers to ensure as many are accommodated as practicable.

To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 11 December 2003.

 

5       DATES, LOCATIONS AND TIMES OF FUTURE MEETINGS OF WEST/CENTRAL AREA COMMITTEE (Committee Manager, Tel 457015)

 

The last remaining scheduled date for the West/Central Area Committee is Thursday 8 April 2004.

 

The following dates are suggested for the remainder of the year and beginning of 2005. In considering dates and times of meetings, members are asked to take into account the options of setting at least one meeting date on a Saturday and varying the time of other meetings so they can start at 7.00pm. Members are also asked to confirm the location for the meetings (attached sheet for Area Committee Procedure Rules refers).

 

Direct clashes with other meetings of the Council have been avoided as much as possible but  some dates coincide with meetings held earlier on the same day.

         Members are asked to consider:

1               the dates shown and whether they wish to meet on a Saturday morning on at least one occasion in the year.

2               the time of the meetings so that they begin at 7.00pm rather than as now, at 7.30pm.

3               the locations of meetings, bearing in mind any views that have been expressed and the need to provide a serviceable venue.
