To note that the applications made relating to the premises shown below have been approved by the Head of Environmental Health and Waste Strategy (HEHWS) under delegated powers:

Café Africa

 

The above items were approved at the 30th October 2003 Licensing Committee until 11th December 2003. Further approval was delegated to HEHWS, provided no further problems were identified or complaints received. No problems have been reported and no complaints received regarding these premises. The licences have therefore been extended until 31st March 2004.

INFORMATION FOR THE PUBLIC

You are welcome to attend this meeting as an observer. Members of the public who wish to speak in objection to an application, and who have put the objections in writing to the Head of Environmental Health and Waste Strategy within the specified period, must contact the Committee Manager by noon on the day before the Committee meeting.  Each speaker is allowed a maximum of five minutes.  Further details can be received by contacting the Committee Manager.

In the event of the fire alarm sounding  (which is a continuous ringing sound), you should pick up your possessions and leave the building by the route you came in. Once clear of the building, you should assemble on the pavement opposite the main entrance to the Guildhall and await further instructions. If your escape route or the assembly area is unsafe, you will be directed to safe areas by a member of Cambridge City Council staff.
