Environment Scrutiny Committee on the 18th March considered a report about a new draft Local Plan for the City which, if agreed by Council, on the 10th April will become a material consideration in the making of planning decisions. It will not replace the existing Local Plan however until it is formally adopted in 2005.
To assist deliberations at the end of Planning
Committee on the 16th April officers will give Members a short briefing on the
implications of the new Local Plan for planning decision making.
