Nb:  At the Council Meeting on 28 November 2002, a petition with more than 500 signatures was submitted and considered on the needs of the local Muslim community for a new mosque because of over crowding at its current location in Mawson Road . The petitioners were advised that the matter would be referred to this meeting of Environment Scrutiny Committee when the draft Local Plan would be considered.  Reference is made to this matter in paragraph 10c of the officer’s covering report.
