Meeting notes and action lists from the Residents Associations Forum.

Residents Association meeting

In 2006 a group of residents associations’ representatives, senior planning officers and leading Councillors held a series of consultative group meetings over the year to discuss the results of a survey into residents associations satisfaction with the planning service.  The survey was carried out by consultants (Boston Marketing Group) for the Council, through a series of workshops with residents associations representatives.  The findings are contained in a report published in 2005.

The series of meetings were constructive and positive.  You can find the BMG report, notes of these meetings, together with the Action Plan by clicking on the documents at the bottom of this page.

Following these meetings a Residents Associations Forum has now been set up, which will meet every six months, to continue the dialogue with the planning service.  Notes of the meetings of the Forum will also be made available on this website.  The notes of the first Forum meeting in July 2007 are available below.
