Application Forms

  • Full Plans Application Form Oct 2006

    The plans submitted with this type of application will be examined by Building Control and we will advise you of any changes that are required. Upon receipt of suitably amended plans we will issue an Approval Notice. Our Building Control Surveyors will inspect work at various stages during construction. A Plan Charge should accompany this type of application.

  • Building Notice Application Form

    Best suited for small uncomplicated works only. Works may commence 48 hours after Notice has been deposited. Building Control Surveyors will inspect the site at relevant stages to ensure work conforms to the Building Regulations. A Building Notice cannot be used if the building work is being carried out on a building to which the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies, or will apply after the completion of the Building work. A Full Plans Application will be required. Similarly, a Building Notice cannot be used if you are intending to build over or within 3m of a public sewer. The Building Notice Charge should accompany this type of application.

  • Replacement Doors and Windows

    If your Building Notice application is for the replacement of windows and external glazed doors please complete and return this form with your application.

  • Regularisation Application Form Dec 2006

    In the case of unauthorised work commenced on, or after, 11 November 1985 you may apply for a Regularisation Certificate. A fee, which is not refundable, must be paid when the application is made. It is important to note that the request for a Regularisation Certificate is entirely discretionary and the Local Authority is under no obligation to accept it. The Regularisation Charge is 120% of the Building Notice Charge.
