Just as everybody does, disabled people need to be aware of their rights and what they are entitled to. You can find out more information about the law and your rights as a disabled person from the Disability Rights Commission.
The Council produces a Guide to Services for disabled and elderly people which highlights and explains many of the services we provide, including advice, assistance and funding.
We also provide an Access Officer who can give you information about rights of access to services and facilities in Cambridge.
Electoral Services
The Council is committed to ensuring that everybody is able to exercise their right to vote, and so provides a range of electoral services for disabled people to help them register their vote.
