Community safety survey
We want you to tell us about your views on, and experiences of, crime and disorder in Cambridge.
Cambridge Community Safety Partnership, together with the other partnerships in the county, is running an online survey to give people who live or work in Cambridge the chance to have their say on issues of crime and disorder.
The information obtained by this survey will be incorporated into the 2008 strategic assessment for the city.
This document is produced annually and brings together all information held by different agencies and views of the public on crime and disorder.
It enables the partnership to identify the most important community safety issues in Cambridge and ensure funding and resources are directed to appropriately tackle these priorities.
We would be really grateful if you could give up a few minutes of your time to complete this online survey.
Win £50 of vouchers
Completed surveys will be put into a draw to stand the chance of winning £50 worth of high street vouchers.
The survey will be online until 12 September 2008.
Working in partnership
Cambridge City Council works in partnership with a number of different agencies as part of the Cambridge Community Safety Partnership. The Partnership brings together a number of different agencies to ensure Cambridge remains a safe place to live, work and visit.
The partnership has agreed a new community safety plan that will be refreshed on an annual basis to detail how the partnership will work to tackle issues relating to crime, disorder, anti-social behaviour, substance misuse and behaviour adversely affecting the environment.
The partnership is made up of a range of different agencies.
There are six statutory responsible authorities within the partnership, they are:
- Cambridge City Council
- Cambridgeshire Constabulary
- Cambridgeshire County Council
- Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service

The partnership also includes a number of equally important members who are not statutory partners, these include:

The agencies that make up the Community Safety Partnership meet at a strategic level to agree issues such as funding plans, priorities and partnership performance.
The agendas and minutes from previous Community Safety Partnership meetings are available.
