We want to develop and maintain a good relationship with our suppliers; local, regional, national or international, private, public or from the voluntary sector.
We need a diverse and competitive supplier base that enables us to match our requirements with the relevant strengths and characteristics of the supplier.
These pages are meant to be useful to you. If you have any suggestions for how they may be improved then please let us know.
Online procurement
The City Council has developed its capabilities for procurement of services online to cut down the time and costs that both our suppliers and ourselves spend in carrying out simple transactions such as sending out orders to our suppliers and making payments.
To enable our suppliers to take advantage of this development we need to validate, update and possibly add information to our current supplier records.
If you are one of our suppliers and you would like to receive purchase orders from Cambridge City Council electronically please read the letter and complete and return a supplier data capture form.
