Shopmobility gives everyone with a mobility problem access to shopping and other services in the city centre.

There are two Shopmobility centres in Cambridge, one at Grand Arcade car park, and one at the Grafton.

Shopmobility offices are open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. You do not need to be a Blue Badge holder to use this scheme.

Both Shopmobility centres provide a free service including:

  • manual and electric wheelchairs
  • portable hearing loops
  • scooters
  • rollators (walking aids with seats)

If you are visually impaired or a require the use of a wheelchair, a staff member can escort you for up to two hours. Please be sure to book this service in advance.

Before equipment can be used we require proof of your name and address, and a small form must be completed for insurance purposes. Staff will be available to show you how to use the equipment if you need them to.
