New Forever Active website!
The new Forever Active website is now live and contains extensive information regarding physical activity opportunities for people aged 50 and over.
The Forever Active sessions are exercise sessions, which are suitable for the over 50 age group as well as for those returning to a more active lifestyle. There are a variety of different sessions on offer, which cater for a wide range of abilities.
It is advised that adults take part in 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise 5 days a week. The health benefits include helping to prevent or manage diabetes, help you to sleep better, helps to increase mobility and muscle strength, helps with osteoporosis, helps to reduce blood pressure, helps with weight loss / maintenance and is an ideal opportunity to meet new friends.
Activities on offer include chair based exercise classes, fitness pilates, aqua aerobics and thai chi.

Want to become a member of Forever Active?
Members of Forever Active will receive reduced session fees, priority bookings at Chesterton Sports Centre, a 10% discount at Hobbs Sports and all the latest information sent directly to you.

It is recommended that participants wear comfortable clothing and footwear for all Forever Active sessions. Participants are also advised to bring along a bottle of water to sip during the exercise to avoid dehydration. You will be required to complete a short medical Pre-exercise Questionnaire prior to the first exercise session.
