The north-west Cambridge area action plan proposed potential developments for the land between Madingley Road and Huntingdon Road.
The plan was prepared by the city council and South Cambridgeshire District Council.
A public consultation on the proposal ran from 19 May to 30 June 2008.
During the consultation a number of representations were received that sought the inclusion of additional, alternative or amended sites for development.
These sites are referred to as objection sites; seven sites were put forward by various individuals or organisations.
In accordance with the Town and Country Planning Regulations 2004 these sites are now being made available for a six-week period of consultation.

Have your say
The consultation is available online, or you can download the consultation document and print it out or read it on your computer.
Alternatively, the document can be viewed during normal office hours at the planning reception in the Guildhall, or at South Cambridgeshire Hall in Cambourne.
To have your say on the proposals you can use the response form on the online consultation site or you can download a PDF version of the response form.
Before submitting your representation, you are advised to read our guidance notes, in order to ensure that you submit all necessary information with your comments.
Please be aware that the deadline for submitting representations is 5pm on Monday 20 October 2008. Representations submitted after this date cannot be accepted.
What happens next?
Following the consultation period an independent examination will be conducted to consider the plan and responses.
The inspectors will produce a report, which may include changes to the plan to meet objections. These changes will be binding on the councils, who can then proceed to statutory adoption.
