Adopted in 2006 the Local Plan sets out policies which will shape development in the City. It will, over the next few years, be replaced by the Cambridge Local Development Framework (see below)

Contains information about the new planning system to guide development and land use in Cambridge.
A number of growth areas have been allocated for development in and around Cambridge. This section contains information about how work on these areas is progressing. There are also other Major Developments within Cambridge that are not as large-scale, but could greatly contribute to the future face of the City.
